The RoboBar provides perfect support for moving any of the larger LED grow lights with Light Rail. The RoboBar dimensions are 42″ x 20″ (106cm x 50 cm), so provides triangulated, acute hanging angles for extra smooth travel along the Rail. The four hanging points provide easy support for any LED grow light including all 3’x3′ (.9m x .9m), all 4’x4′ (1.2m x 1.2m), all oversized rectangular LED grow lights, just any of the larger LED grow lights, all brands/any dimensions. With the RoboBar’s structural support, larger LED grow lights moved on a Light Rail can cover up to 100% more linear area per grow light. So, one 4’x4′ (1.2m x 1.2m) LED on a Light Rail can now cover a 4’x8′ (1.2m x 2.4m) space compared to what would typically be two stationary 4’x4′ LEDs in that same area. Set up is easy with one Light Rail 3.5 Kit or one Light Rail 4.0 Kit, each matched with one RoboBar, per 4’x8′ space. For 4’x8′ tables, simply center the 6’6″ Rail over each 8′ length.
The 42″ x 20″ (106cm x 50 cm) RoboBar consists of two outriggers, one center bar, two heavy duty T-bar connectors, and four corner eye screws for hanging any grow light. Special security features include two individually secured connectors to the Motor. And, that’s with using Nyloc Nuts for extra strength at those connection points. To eliminate any swinging to the large, flat plane of an LED, there is also the special design feature of triangulated, acute angled hanging points. This provides sway-proofing as the LED moves along the Rail. And, it positions the LED grow light closer to the Motor, which is a vertical space saving feature.
For an overview of hanging, use the four hanging points of your LED grow light to directly match with the four hanging points of the RoboBar. So, an angled, triangulated connection is likely.
Note: If your LED grow light came with just two adjustable rope ratchets or cables for hanging, then purchase two more (hydro store, hardware store, grow light company) so that there is a rope ratchet or cable for each corner. If your LED grow light came with any other instruments for hanging such as metal wire harps to create two centered hanging points only, you will not use those. Four hanging points are what is needed to use the RoboBar and four hanging points will also give the extra stability needed for the flat plane of any large, moving LED grow light.
Note: Not intended to use with Add A Lamp Kits and will not attach to the Auxiliary Trolley of the Add A Lamp Kit.
Instead, use with individual Light Rail 3.5 or individual Light Rail 4.0 Kits only, which is also logical in that each grow lights coverage area will be much longer than each 6’6″ (2m) Rail. So, for space planning, each Rail will be gapped by several feet to account for that extra light coverage. Also for setup planning, half the grow light will go beyond the stopper setting, and that happens at both ends of travel. How this works as a suggested travel setting: The adjustable Switch Stop stopper to Switch Stop stopper setting might be 3′ to 5′ for stopper placement to light up to a 7′ to 9′ space, depending on grow light dimensions.
